This exercise develops the lateral deltoid muscles of the shoulder.
In a standing position hold two dumbbells at your shoulders, palms facing forward, close to your shoulder blades. Press one of the dumbbells above your head then place it back to the starting position and repeat this with the other arm. During the exercise your torso shall be straight and you have to keep it toned. This exercise can be performed with both arms simultaneously, in this case lift both arms with the dumbbells at the same time above our head, then place them back to the starting position.
